5. Multiplication of signals
     Example:  calculation of power, power = speed x force

 

 

  1. Signal 1 : Speed [Km/h]) must be divided by 3.6 to get m/s instead of Km/h
  2. Signal 2: tractive effort (force) in kN
  3. Signal 3 is the power in kW : at point zero is:
      8.39m/s  x  44.849kN  =  376.5kW

To keep signal speed in Km/h you can make a copy of signal 1 and divide this by 3.6
